An event index usually shows the peak: the ribbon, the full table, the smile into the lens. The more useful index is what remains when the programme is over. A room still occupied. A road. A crowd from above. A table after the names have been called.
This is not a night shoot commissioned as art. It is a way of arranging records we already have. If a frame cannot be traced to the archive, it does not belong here.
